This body of work was created during a time of tremendous upheaval after an unavoidable tragedy and the year of healing and transformation that followed.
Each painting was a journey that began with an intention moving me beyond an old story and/or a limiting belief. Layer after layer, each became part of my new story – one of freedom. Freedom to be all of who I truly am and a great passion for the work I am here to do.
“She Who Knows” was the first of this series. This painting (not for sale) was a quest to discover my own legend – and with deepest gratitude the discovery was that I am on My Own True Path, doing exactly what I am meant to do.
Each painting has her own compelling story and wisdom teaching. I have shared a small piece of these on their gallery cards. My hope is that you will find something for yourself in one or more of these expressions.

MEDICINE WOMAN: To truly serve you must own and take responsibility for the gifts you carry. They are many and strong. Accept them, step into them, they are beautiful gifts that were meant to be used and shared. You are deeply connected to the earth and the cosmos. You have always had this connection. It is up to you to initiate the awareness Blessings on you and your day. Return to me soon. There is so much more for you to hear. Open your heart, it is a beautiful, healing gift you carry.
SHE WHO KNOWS: She believes in Love and Life in all its forms. She believes in Truth and Evolution. She believes in Perseverance and the Wildish Self. She does not believe in linear time or excuses or living less than you are.
BEAUTY IS WITHIN: I release the bindings; limiting beliefs, cultural restrictions, and fears around my body, my sensuality and my sexuality. My beauty comes from within me… I choose freedom to Be the sensual, sexual, beautiful woman I truly am!
THE MIDNIGHT MUSE: You are the one you have dreamed of. Unburden yourself from that which restricts you. Letting go of those “protections” and limiting beliefs will set you free in ways you have only imagined. Come to me in your dreams and I will show you so much beauty and love… all that is waiting for you. I am your Shining Light and your Way Shower.
THE ART OF BECOMING A Woman of Strength, Power and Courage: You are becoming the one you long for You are so much and you are so loved, you have no idea. It is time to set aside old wounds and limiting beliefs. You have grown past all that even though you do not always recognize that. Focus on what you have come to give… the journey to Self that you will be for others.
ON FIRE WITH TRUTH: Really, it is not about playing small and quiet anymore. It is about being who you are, who you have always been meant to be. It is your time… Discernment is a useful thing – holding back who you are is not. This is about letting go, speaking out, experimenting, being free so that you might find your own True Voice!! Yes, this takes courage… you have that courage and some to spare. Be Bold! Be Free. Take Risks. Have Fun. Enjoy the Ride. Learn! This is what you have come here for. Let your edges grow… you are bigger than you have imagined. Take up the space you were given. Be as Big as you were meant to be… you are NOT taking up someone else’s space. There is enough for everyone. Your responsibility is to take up your space, your part, to share your boldness, your voice, your courage. To show others what it is to claim your own True Self so that they might see and know to claim their own True Self.
MUSE: I am your Muse… the one who speaks, the one who knows what you desire to know… Always I am whispering in your heart… You need only listen to know I am here.
SHE EMERGES ( Original Sold): She Emerges From the illuminated doorway of Embodied Realization. The key is and has always been her heart. Sheltered by the three levels of wisdom and knowledge, she walks and stands in her Truth. Her beloveds call and she has come.
READY TO FLY: (Original Sold) You are ready to Fly. Take the time you need now to release and heal. There are unknowable treasures waiting for you. Go forth… step forward, gently now, With care for your own wounded and healing heart. You are so loved and so needed.
I AM WILD AND FREE: I am the deepest expression of your wildest self. I am you – always remember we are not separate no matter how compelling that might be to believe at times. We are fierce and fearless, we are without shame. We are the source of creation in it's most free and wild expression, which is all about the Truth of Life with no excuses, no withholding, no restrictions. I am bold and rich in wisdom and knowledge. I am timeless. I am the source of your greatest power, your greatest strength, your greatest struggles. Always, always, there deepest, infinite love and compassion… more nourishment than you can imagine… You are never alone. I am yours and you are mine. Always.
MEDICINE WOMAN BLOOMING I am healer, shape shifter, medicine woman. You have been and are calling me forth… we are the cosmos and the Earth. We have been called to serve and we have answered that call again and again. We are old and wise and full of knowledge, myth and magic. This painting was planned ahead of and then created on my 70 th birth day. It was about honoring and appreciating what I have attained .. the growth of a wellspring of wisdom, experience and knowledge, and connection to the Divine. It was about letting go. Honoring and releasing that which no longer serves/is no longer necessary for the journey. It was about stepping into the belief “The Best is Yet to Come”
